Ngai is a member of the ICI research team. His expertise includes complex dataset management and various types of advanced statistical analysis such as multivariate models, mixed models, survival analysis and propensity score matching. He has worked and published using both publicly accessible and self-collected survey data. He is currently serving as a statistician on several federally funded vocational rehabilitation research projects. Ngai is also actively involved in a research capacity mentorship program as the principal investigator and a mentor in quantitative analysis under the NIDILRR-funded Langston University RRTC that aims to enhance research skills and capacities among junior faculty/ researchers in minority serving institutions across the country.
