Brittany Powers conducts quantitative and qualitative research, aiding in data collection, analysis, and reporting for several state- and national-level projects to better understand and improve employment outcomes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She supports the evaluation of community-based programming aimed at increasing access to employment among youth and young adults with IDD. Brittany is passionate about using a participatory approach in research to ensure quality of life for people with disabilities. Before joining the ICI, Brittany’s work focused on the systems-level promotion of health and wellness for people with IDD, ranging from early detection and intervention to mental health supports.
