John’s work focuses on tracking and monitoring national and state-level employment trends and developing and supporting experimental research projects to improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities. He supports state intellectual and developmental disabilities agencies in developing and maintaining data collection activities to help meet their goals in improving quality employment outcomes. John also conducts secondary data analysis on large national data sets, such as the American Community Survey and the Rehabilitation Services Administration 911, and pays particular attention to intersectionality when analyzing trends in employment outcomes to bring attention to differences across race, ethnicity, and gender.
