Heike Boeltzig Brown

Heike Boeltzig-Brown has over 20 years of experience in conducting research on disability, vocational rehabilitation, and employment both in the US and globally (Germany, UK, Japan), using various methodological approaches. Her most recent work focuses on disability and career services in higher education. Parallel to her research, Heike has directed, implemented, and evaluated a number of international exchange programs focused on disability inclusion and targeting South America, East Africa, and Japan. Program funders have included the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the U.S. Embassy Tokyo, the U.S.-Japan Council, the Duskin Ainowa Foundation, and the Nippon Foundation.
